Construction worker rescued after falling 15 feet into hole

A Hardin Construction worker fell through a concrete hole early Thursday while working on site at the new freshman housing on Cullen Boulevard.

A UH spokesman said the worker, who hasn’t been identified, fell 15 feet and was unresponsive. The Houston Fire Department was able to lift the man out, after some struggle.

No extent to what injuries the man suffered. Hardin Construction has not released a statement.
