Three Cougars have been named to the All Tournament team for the Astros Foundation College Classic. Junior catcher Caleb Barker, and freshman infielders Josh Vidales and Kyle Kirk (as the designated hitter) were all named to the Astros Foundation College Classic All Tournament squad Sunday. Their contributions helped the Cougars finish 2-1 for the tournament.
Barker, who hit .400 and put up four RBIs and knocked in two runs, also threw out two baserunners and made several impressive plays at and behind homeplate, as he snared a few high foul popups.
Vidales, who batted an .500 with an RBI, also drew six walks over the course of three games.
Kirk, who played DH for the Cougars during the series, hit .333 while driving in six runs and a walk in the series.
