New Health Center chief physician hired

Dr. John Joe has been hired as the new executive director and chief physician of the Health Center.
Joe will serve as UH’s chief medical officer and as a liason between UH and the medical community throughout Houston.
Joe is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and has served as an assistant professor of Family Medicine for them since 1996. He is also on the Texas Academy of Family Physicians Board and the Harris County Academy of Family Physicians Board.
