Crime Report

The following is a partial report of campus crime between June 12 and Tuesday. All information is selected from the files of the UH Police Department. The information in italics indicates when the event was reported to UHPD and the event’ s location. Information or questions regarding the cases below should be directed to UHPD at (713) 743-0600.

Burglary of a Motor Vehicle: 6:24 p.m. June 12, Lot 9C – A University of Houston parking decal was stolen from an unsecured and unattended vehicle. Occurred between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Burglary of a Coin-operated Machine: 2:31 p.m. Saturday, Cullen Oaks Apartments – A Cullen Oaks staff member reported that a vending machine had been burglarized on the second floor of Cullen Oaks Apartments. Occurred before 2:15 p.m.

Minor in Possession of Alcohol: 12:58 a.m., Saturday, Cullen Oaks Apartments – One student and two visitors, all of whom were under the legal drinking age, were found consuming alcoholic beverages in the Cullen Oaks Apartments Courtyard. Occurred at 12:58 a.m.

Possession of a Controlled Substance: 3:38 a.m. Sunday, 4800 Texas Spur 5 – Powder cocaine was found in the car of a visitor who was detained for a traffic violation. The visitor was arrested. Occurred between 3:38 and 3:56 a.m.

Theft: 9:18 p.m., Tuesday, Campus Recreation and Wellness Center – A visitor’s belongings were stolen from a combination locker while he was using the facilities. Occurred between 7:10 and 9 p.m.
