UH associate professor of architecture Leonard Bachman will lead part seven of The Science and Policy of Climate Change lecture series today.
Bachman, who also serves as the Clinton Climate Initiative city director for Houston, will delve into how building efficiency can effect global warming, at the lecture series organized by UH assistant professor of atmospheric science Barry Lefer.
Experts on energy and climate change are attempting to raise awareness about the environment during the eight-part lecture series dedicated to addressing issues of climate change for both the world and the Houston area.
The event is open to the public and will be held from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. at Room 101, Cameron Building.
City of Houston environmental programming director Karl Pepple will speak about transportation and vehicle efficiency on Nov. 17, for the final lecture of the series.
