UH junior guards Aubrey Coleman and Kelvin Lewis were selected to All-Conference USA teams Monday, marking the first all-conference postseason selection for both players.
‘ Coleman earned a spot on the first team, while Lewis was named to the third team.
Coleman leads the Cougars in scoring this season with 19.9 points per contest and ranks second in rebounding with 8.1 boards per game. He is the only player in C-USA who ranks in the top four in both categories.’
Coleman also has a team-high 12 double-doubles and 14 games with at least 20 points. He also scored at least 30 points three times this season, including a career-high 38 points against Marshall on February 18.
Lewis is UH’s second-leading scorer, putting up 18 points per game. He has made 80 3-pointers this season, accounting for almost half of the 170 treys the Cougars made, and is the only player who has started all 29 games for UH this season.
