Seniors Case Keenum and Marcus McGraw were named Conference USA Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for their performances in the Cougars’ 48-16 win against Tulsa.
Keenum completed 33-46 passes for 457 yards and five touchdowns.
It was the fourth time he received Offensive Player of the Week honors this season, and the sixth time UH has earned the nod.
McGraw led UH with 15 tackles, three for a loss, as part of a defensive effort where the Cougars held their opponents under 20 points for a fourth straight week.
Despite his illustrious career, McGraw had never earned Defensive Player of the Week before.
Senior linebacker Sammy Brown took the honor last week, and junior linebacker Phillip Steward earned the award for thr week of Oct.10.
