UH’s Soka Peace Group will set up a booth from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in Butler Plaza outside M.D. Anderson Memorial Library to raise awareness for nuclear abolition.
Students will be able to write their own visions for world peace on pieces of paper that will be released on biodegradable helium balloons every half-hour.
Informational pamphlets will also be available.
This event is free and open to all students.
