TODAY:

Events: Families are invited to attend the annual Family Weekend, which involves a wide variety of activities including academic, social, athletic and cultural opportunities. The registration deadline was on October 7, and it will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit uh.edu/parents.

Off-campus: GreenStreet will host its fifth annual Barkitecture Houston to help the Pup Squad Animal Rescue from 5 to 9 p.m. at Mia Bella Trattoria. The event is free, open to the public and continues from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday at the courtyard of Caroline and San Jacinto Streets. More information can be found here.

SATURDAY:

Events: The annual Family Weekend continues from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for registered families to experience the opportunities at the University. For more information, visit uh.edu/parents.

Off-campus: The fifth annual Korean Festival will showcase Korean culture with traditional dance, music and activities for everyone to enjoy. It will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Jones Lawn in Discovery Green. For more information about tickets and parking, visit their website.

SUNDAY:

Religion: Join the Catholic Mass on campus from 10 a.m. to noon at the A.D. Bruce Religion Center.

Off-campus: Spend your Sunday morning exercising with a fun hula-hooping fitness class from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. To reserve an adult-sized hula hoop or for more information, visit Discovery Green’s website here.
