Cullen Boulevard repairs may be taken on by city

The Board of Regents has called a special meeting to discuss how to move forward with Cullen Boulevard today at 9 a.m. at the Hilton UH.

Carl Carlucci, executive vice chancellor for administration and finance, will present the Resolution in Support of the City of Houston’s Renovation of Cullen Boulevard to the Board to be voted on.

The resolution would commit the city to an “intensive full depth pavement replacement repair” of Cullen Boulevard between Elgin Street and Wheeler, a 76,000 square-foot stretch, starting May 2014.
