Coming off a dominant 100-37 season-opening exhibition win against the Huston-Tilloston Rams, the Cougars are looking to continue their success against the UNT Mean Green.

As every participating player in last week’s victory scored at least four points and grabbed two steals, the Cougars have shown that they are a well-rounded team with depth.

All eyes have been on Houston this preseason considering the new team with new leadership in head coach Ronald Hughey. Hughey has had high hopes for the team and with last week’s big win, his confidence has surely grown.

Hughey and the Cougars are set to take on the UNT Mean Green this Friday in Denton and hope to pick up their second win before returning to UH to face off with Incarnate Word on Nov. 17.
