The Cougars took on the Incarnate Word Cardinals Monday night and fell 50-48 after Houston fouls put Incarnate Word into double bonus. The Cougars came up short in shooting percentage in the loss with 29.5 from the field and 43.8 compared to the Cardinals’ percentages of 36.4 and 59.3. Despite the loss, strong performances throughout the defeat as well as during previous games keep the Cougars optimistic about the season.
