Biology and biochemistry professor Dan Graur and associate vice president for research Mary Ann Ottinger were named as fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the largest general scientific society in the world.
Graur and Ottinger were each nominated by the steering group of the association, at least three current AAAS fellows or the AAAS CEO himself.
The two scientists will be recognized on Feb. 14 at AAAS’s annual meeting in San Jose, Calif.
