Three candidates for the position of Dean of the UH libraries have been chosen and will spend a full day on campus to become acclimated with the area.
Lisa B. German, Jay Starratt and Maggie Farrell will be welcomed to campus by Provost Paula Myrick Short and the search committee, which was led by Bauer College of Business Dean Latha Ramchand and search firm Isaacson, Miller. The committee is in search for a candidate to replace outgoing dean, Dana Rooks.
German will visit campus on Thursday, while Starratt visit on Feb. 16 and Farrell on Feb. 20. During each of their visits, the candidates will have breakfast with the UH deans, meet with current librarians at the M.D. Anderson Library and debrief with the search committee at the end of their day.
