”I don’t know who he is,” Finance freshman Alondra Acosta said. “But I think that the (headlining frontier Fiesta singer) is really cool and it’s (going to) make a lot of people go ‘yeah, yeah.’”
“I don’t really know much about who he is, but he sounds like most other rappers nowadays,” history sophomore Chris Ramirez said. “I’m probably not (going to) go to Frontier Fiesta, just doesn’t really catch my attention.”
“I mean I’ve never heard him, but he doesn’t sound particularly bad,” Geology freshman Charles Healy said. “I don’t know if I’ll be going to Frontier Fiesta, but I have no strong feelings either way.”
“He’s not still in jail?” kinesiology senior Kenteria Woodard said. “I thought he was. I think he’s good I mean since I’ve been here we’ve had B.O.B. and Schoolboy Q and now we have Rae — sounds about right. I’m (going to) definitely go, I mean it’s my senior year.”
“Yeah I’m not really into them,” kinesiology junior Leighnard Marquez said. I don’t listen to a lot of rap, but I think some of my friends are really hype for it. I don’t know if I’ll go.”
“Oh yeah I know them,” digital media freshman Maric Gillespie said. “I think they should have gotten somebody else, but I think people are probably jaded by bad hip hop music coming out and don’t care.”
I cannot wait! This will finally be a reason to go to Frontier Fiesta.
Man … the headliners are fantastic … family orientated, etc. Who are they?
