With a team score of 11+ over par, the Cougars also took the team championship at the event, beating out rival Rice University by one stroke.

Gonzalez shot an even-par round of 72 on the second day to end the tournament at +2 over par and capture the individual championship.

Behind Gonzalez, sophomores Alan De Bondt and Michael Perras and redshirt junior Emmett Oh tied for second place, each tallying +3 over par for the event.

Redshirt junior Matt Dunn shot +4 over par for the event to place in a tie for ninth place, while redshirt sophomore Joshua Gibbons, redshirt freshmen Matt Williams and Logan Davis each shot +10 over par, +10 over par and +12 over par respectively in the tournament.
