Monday: Homecoming Pep Rally and Block Party With RHA

Sponsored by the University of Houston Residence Hall Association, the annual Homecoming Pep Rally and Block Party will involve games, music and food to officially kickoff Homecoming Week on campus. All students are welcome to attend.
Tuesday: Color Me Houston

7 – 10 p.m.
Activities and music —including colored powder, similar to that used at Holi— will be used to fire up school spirit at the annual Color Me Houston event on Tuesday night. Students who attend can participate in a Color Run while rallying the Cougars as Homecoming Week continues. The presidential election will also be streaming live.
Wednesday: Coog-Lympics
Campus Wellness and Recreation Center
4 – 6 p.m.
Students are encouraged to watch as group of competitors from around campus join to take on different fitness challenges. They will show off their Cougar Pride while fighting to claim the coveted Spirit Cup.
Homecoming Roll Bounce Skate Party
Student Center Houston Room
7 – 10 p.m.
The Homecoming Board has turned the Houston Room into a Roller Rink. Attendees will be provided with skates, food, and custom airbrush t-shirts, among other homecoming gear.
Thursday: Homecoming Strut Your Stuff
Student Center Houston Room
7 – 10 p.m.
A tradition at UH since the 1970s, Strut Your Stuff is the annual talent show the Homecoming Board puts on to celebrate talented Cougars. Individuals, student groups and different organizations will showcase their talents by performing skits, step shows and dancing.
Friday: Rock The Campus w/ MVP
Lynn Eusan Park and Butler Plaza
9 a.m.
Join the Metropolitan Volunteer Program as they clean up the park and help around the campus. Afterward, students can enjoy lunch in Butler Plaza with the rest of the volunteers as Cougars celebrate Homecoming Week.
Homecoming Fiesta w/ Frontier Fiesta

5 – 7 p.m.
Help close out Homecoming Week with a fiesta in Lynn Eusan Park. Join in with activities, food, and music to gather school spirit for the game on Saturday. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs on a grill, dessert food trucks and games. Students are encouraged to get there early.
UH Men’s Basketball Game
Hofheinz Pavilion
7 p.m.
Come join and cheer at the UH Men’s Basketball home opener against Morgan State as UH takes on the first basketball game of the season.
SPB Presents the Homecoming Concert

‘Am I Wrong’ singers Nico and Vinz are this year’s Homecoming performers at the Friday night concert. Tickets are available online.
Saturday: Homecoming Game- UH vs. Tulane
TDECU Stadium
2:30 p.m.
Students are encouraged to cheer on the Cougars as they battle against Tulane to close out the 2016 Homecoming Week. Homecoming king and queen are crowned at halftime.
