Coldplay brings sonic sounds

Coldplay rocked the Toyota Center on Tuesday night with a mix of old classics and new melodies that kept the crowd going into the night.?With multi-colored lasers and confetti falling from the rafters, the night was full of non-stop movement. When Coldplay performs, it’s usually an intimate setting where they can be close to their fans and give them a show that will not disappoint.

?The show began with the techno-sounding song "Life in Technicolor," which leads into a mix of songs the crowd seemed to enjoy clapping and singing to. From Viva La Vida’s "Violet Hill" to "Clocks" and "Speed of Sound" Coldplay kept the momentum going and the crowd pleased. During one point of the show the band gathered at the end of a ramp on a lighted stage to perform "The Hardest Part" and "Postcards from Far Away." Singer Chris Martin took time in between those songs to interact with the crowd. ?

One of the most surprising moments of the show is when the group sprinted down one of the two ramps, ran through the crowd and up to the 100-level corridor to perform a couple songs to the crowd in the back. While standing on a table, upon which Martin lost his balance and almost fell from at one point, they performed "The Scientist" and Will Champion, the drummer, performed an acoustic version of "Death Will Never Conquer."

?The crowd was left speechless as Coldplay played its popular song, "Yellow" before a much-anticipated encore of "The Escapist," which it closed with.?If you ever get a chance to see Coldplay, it is a moving experience that will leave you breathless and wanting more soon after it leaves the stage.
