Professor Emeritus Oliver Markley is the former chair of the graduate program in Studies of the Future at UH-Clear Lake. Markley reflected on his time as a member of UHCL faculty at the College of Technology’s ‘Future Studies: A Reflection of Thirty-Five Years.’
Markley joined UHCL in 1978 from the Stanford Research Institute, where he led the ‘Societal Consequences of Changing Images of Man’ with legendary American mythologist Joseph Campbell.
