With midterms in our midst, it can be tough to find a spare minute to relax. If you’re lucky enough to catch some time without your textbook, let these songs give you that extra boost of creative inspiration you need to finish out the week strong.

Marian Hil: “Got It” — Marian Hill is a duo signed to emerging LA label B3Sci. They dropped “Got It” Sunday. The track finds itself on a collision between sultry soul, incredible vocalizations and whirring synth brass.

Penguin Prison: “Calling Out” — Penguin Prison, the musical alias of dance-pop savant Chris Glover, has returned with a new single. Co-written by electro-house duo Oliver, this new tune is a great study companion.

Cambio Sun: “Mad As They Come” — An unpredictable track by Charlie Tait, known by the stage name Cambio Sun, that will keep you guessing with every note.

Gorgon City: “FTPA Feat. Erik Hassle” — “FTPA” is a new song off Gorgon City’s debut album “Sirens” out now. It was co-written with Erik Hassle while the group was in Los Angeles on their recent U.S. tour.

Tom Misch: “On My Mind” — Misch provides stellar beat-making and an awareness of tone and mood across this track that hasn’t been heard in awhile. “On My Mind” demonstrates Misch’s vocal chops and his ability to take R&B, electronic, guitar and jazz leanings and push it all into a great sounding tune.
