Students experience IT service disruptions: Last day to add classes extended

Lily Huynh / The Cougar

Since Monday evening, UH students have been experiencing disruptions of several IT services, including AccessUH, UH website and Peoplesoft.

As a result, the last day to add classes for fall session one has been extended to Tuesday, Sept. 1, according to an Instagram story posted by Cougar One Stop, a one stop for enrollment and financial services.

University Information Technology is currently working with vendor partners to resolve the issue, said Assistant Vice President for Technology Services and Support David Johnson in an email.

Users may continue to experience periods when applications are unavailable or performance is degraded, until the issue is resolved.

Canvas, Office 365 and outbound traffic remain unaffected.

This is a developing story and The Cougar will continue to report on it.
